Dr. Alexis da Silva was born and raised in South Florida and has cared
for patients in her home state throughout her career. She graduated from
the University of Miami in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology
and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then went on to attend Morehouse
School of Medicine, an institution that accepts 1.3% of applicants per
year and has been ranked #1 in Social Missions by the
Annals of Internal Medicine. After earning her medical degree in 2015, she completed her residency
training in 2018 at the University of Miami and became board certified
in Internal Medicine. She later completed her endocrinology fellowship
at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she received exceptional
training in the evaluation and management of all forms of diabetes as
well as diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal glands,
and osteopenia/osteoporosis.
Dr. da Silva is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
